Nominee will be announced 'very soon', says Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump said Saturday he is moving "very quickly" to select a nominee to fill the Supreme Court vacancy created by the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg just six weeks before the election. Speaking to reporters outside the White House as he left for a rally in North Carolina, Trump said he has "great respect for the process." But to those who believe any nomination should wait until after the November 3 election, Trump said he has "an obligation as the winners" of the last election to choose who he wants.
