Macron, 3 NATO Allies SLAP BACK At Trump's Elon Musk 'Revenge' | 'US Intimidation Won't...'

A major transatlantic clash is erupting over free speech, tech regulation, and digital sovereignty. European leaders, led by French President Emmanuel Macron, have condemned the United States after Washington imposed visa bans on five prominent European figures linked to the EU’s Digital Services Act. Among those targeted is former EU commissioner Thierry Breton, a key architect of the law regulating American tech platforms. The Trump administration says the move is aimed at stopping what it calls extraterritorial censorship of American viewpoints. Europe rejects that claim, warning the bans amount to coercion and intimidation and threaten democratic sovereignty. With Brussels signalling possible retaliation, the dispute is rapidly becoming one of the most serious political confrontations between the U.S. and Europe in years.
