'Israel Not Reliable': Iran Says Ceasefire Could Collapse, Military Ready For All Scenarios

Iran’s defence minister expressed deep distrust of the current ceasefire with Israel, revealing multiple military scenarios in case of renewed conflict. The statement followed a series of Israeli airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear and military sites in June, which escalated into a 12-day conflict causing civilian casualties on both sides. The U.S. joined the offensive with its own strikes, and a ceasefire brokered on June 24 has so far held, though its durability remains uncertain. Iranian media describe the ceasefire as legally fragile and temporary. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu recently hinted that the confrontation with Iran is ongoing despite setbacks to Tehran’s nuclear program.
