Iran has published footage of the 49th wave of Operation True Promise 4, fired in three separate salvos targeting US bases across the region and Israeli positions in occupied territories. Defence analysts say the wave appears to have introduced the Paveh long-range land-attack cruise missile for the first time. With a range of 1,650 kilometres and the ability to fly at low altitudes to evade radar, the Paveh's most significant capability is cooperative engagement the missiles communicate with each other mid-flight, with decoys sent ahead to open corridors for the primary strike package, entirely without ground control. Iran appears to be deliberately cycling new systems into each wave rather than expending everything at once.
