Russia has called on the United States and Israel to halt their attacks on Iran as the conflict in the Middle East intensifies. Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova urged Washington D.C. and Tel Aviv to stop the bombardment of Tehran and return to negotiations. The Kremlin aide said the humanitarian situation across the region was becoming increasingly difficult as airstrikes continue to hit Iranian targets.
