Yemen’s Houthis hit U.S. oil giants including Exxon and Chevron with sanctions. The move comes amid rising tensions in the Red Sea despite a truce with the Trump administration. HOCC, the Houthi-linked body, targeted 13 companies, nine executives, and two vessels. Analysts say the sanctions are largely symbolic, aimed at sending a strong message. The Houthis have also attacked vessels linked to Israel, showing solidarity with Gaza.
