Boston: Transplant patient without COVID shot denied heart

Tensions in the Middle East continue to spiral after Iran launched a fresh wave of ballistic missile strikes on Israel overnight on March 15, following U.S. bombing of Kharg Island which Tehran had described as a red line. Sirens blared across central Israel as missiles targeted multiple areas, with a direct impact reported in Holon. According to Magen David Adom ambulance services, at least two people in their 80s were injured — one by flying glass and another from smoke inhalation — while several others were treated for shock. The Israel Defense Forces said it is investigating the incident, noting that some injuries may have been caused by falling fragments after missile interceptions. Warning sirens were also activated in southern Israel, including Eilat. Reports and online footage also showed fires and impacts in cities across the Tel Aviv region, including Ramla and Netanya, as air defenses attempted to intercept incoming missiles.
