Speaking at the launch of third volume of Pranab Mukherjee's book, 'The Coalition Years: 1996-2012', Manmohan Singh described the former President as one of the greatest living politicians in the country. Manmohan Singh said that Pranab Mukherjee was better qualified to become PM, but it was Sonia Gandhi who picked him to run the government.
