Even though it's been 15 years since Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra made the iconic Rang de Basanti, he feels there's always scope to make a better version provided the filmmaker is completely committed to the story telling. In an exclusive conversation with TOI, the filmmaker talked about a range of topics including why his colleagues sometimes refer to his film narrations as 'painful'. He's also ready with his autobiography, snatches of which also influence his filmmaking and story-telling.
