Unni Mukundan’s love for pets are known for every Malayali. The pictures of the actor with his dogs, Happy and Toffee, are popular among netizens. Seems like there is a new addition in his family now. The actor has shared pictures and videos of him playing with a little puppy who he has called Burfi. The actor has captioned it, "Burfi, my boy. Now who doesn't love some Bufi love." The actor's house at Palakkad, hosts many pets including hens. Unni had earlier told us that lockdown has literally helped him to know more about his neighbourhood in Ottapalam. "It’s quite green and serene. Achan and amma have been into farming ever since we started living there. We have birds like hens and ducks. Apart from them, we also have regular visitors like peacocks, owls and parrots. Lockdown got me closer to nature," he said, adding that his family isn't into organised farming, but let plants grow on their own, following the Japanese method Fukuoka.Unni said, “It was during the lockdown that I realised we have so many plants in the plot, including Almond. I climbed a tree myself for the first time during the lockdown, which was a great experience. The sky that I see from my home is so clear and sans air pollution," he says, revealing that he is slowly falling in love with agriculture.When the lockdown restrictions were relaxed, Unni says, he started going for rides to nearby areas. "I thought there weren’t many houses around but I was wrong. There are houses, big trees and a lot of greenery. I tried meditation too for the first time in this lockdown and it really helped," he says.
