Just two days after the death of his mother Aruna Bhatia, actor Akshay Kumar, his wife Twinkle Khanna and their children, Aarav and Nitara, were spotted at Kalina airport on September 10 in the afternoon. While the details of their destination remain unknown for the time being, news reports suggest that the actor is flying back to the United Kingdom, to resume work. Dressed in a full black outfit, the actor even obliged the paparazzi waiting at the airport for pictures before folding his hands and thanking them as he made his way to the entrance. Akshay Kumar lost his mother, his support system on September 8. He had rushed to Mumbai to be by his mother's side only a day or two prior. With a heavy heart, he took to his social media handles to inform all his well-wishers about his mother's passing. He had penned, 'She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti.' A day after his mom's passing, Akshay Kumar rang in his 54th birthday. On the occasion, he shared a beautiful picture of his with his mother and wrote, 'Would have never liked it this way but am sure mom is singing Happy Birthday to me from right up there! Thanks to each one of you for your condolences and wishes alike. Life goes on.' If reports are anything to go by, Akshay Kumar will resume the shooting of his film, 'Cinderella' in London. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, it also stars Chandrachur Singh and Sargun Mehta. The film is said to be the Hindi remake of 'Rakshasudu'.
