Novelist Salman Rushdie recently got stabbed mercilessly at a literary event in New York. And now, the Harry Potter author, JK Rowling, has received a death threat from an Iran-based extremist. Condemning the attack on Rushdie, Rowling had tweeted, 'Horrifying news. Feeling very sick right now. Allow him to be okay.' However, to an utter shock to the writer, Meer Asif Aziz, who describes himself as a 'student, social activist, political activist, and research activist' on Twitter, responded by writing, 'Don't worry, you are next.' Following this, Rowling publicly requested help from Twitter, asking '@TwitterSupport, Any chance of some support?' For more news and updates, stay tuned to Etimes.
