City police on Monday showered colorful paper pieces, symbolic of petals, on the staffers of the Government medical college and hospital (GMCH) and Indira Gandhi government medical college and hospital (IGGMCH), better known as Mayo hospital, where Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment. City polices' wireless department pressed it's newly innovated drones into action to shower 'petals' on the hospital staffers. The drones were put together, with public announcement system, by a team of seven persons including three teenagers. The colorful paper pieces were showered as a mark of respect towards the frontline medical staffers of the two government hospitals who are round the clock serving the Corona patients. The hospitals also houses the laboratories which are conducting Covid tests round the clock.
