Mumbai gets hotter, smog shrouds many parts of the city

Maximum temperature in Mumbai touched 35.5 degrees on September 11, more than 5 degrees above normal and topping highest maximum temperature recorded last year for September. Thick smog also hung over many parts of Mumbai lowering visibility.
