Maharashtra plastic ban: Deadline extended to June 21

Bombay High Court has refused to stay the Maharashtra government notification banning use of plastic materials across the state. The court has granted three more months time to manufacturers, traders and retailers to dispose of the existing plastic bags that they have. Same time frame has been given to the public as well and the deadline now stands at June 21, 2018.
