A helicopter carrying Maharashtra Chief Minister
Devendra Fadnavis to Aurangabad had to make a force landing soon after take off
from Nashik. According to officials, the chopper was overloaded and had to land
back due to trouble in flying. The chopper was said to be a five-seater private
helicopter and there were only four passengers on board at the time of the
incident. However, there was quite a lot of baggage. Among the passengers were
Fadnavis, medical education and irrigation minister Girish Mahajan, Abhimanyu
Pawar, CM's Personal Assistant and Satish, CM's cook. The weight of the copter
had to be reduced by off loading the cook and some luggage.
