It seems in the race of achieving the targets of open defecation free villages under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pet Swachh Bharat Abhiyan project, the government machinery has reversed the human necessities. In the PM’s constituency, Varanasi, there are many homeless families, who are yet to benefit from the housing scheme, but have already got toilets.
