Kolkata: Fire at Calcutta Medical College and Hospital, more than 250 patients evacuated

A fire broke out at the Pharmacy department of Calcutta Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. Ten fire tenders reached the spot to douse the fire. A total of 250 patients have been shifted to safer areas and no casualties have been reported as of now. The fire department was notified after smoke was spotted billowing from the building in which the pharmacy is located at around eight in the morning.
