V Muraleedharan demands resignation of Kochi Mayor over corruption

Union Minister V Muraleedharan on March 12 alleged of corruption in Waste Management of Kerala’s Thrissur. He demanded the resignation of the Mayor of Kochi Corporation over the issue. V Muraleedharan said, “The contract was given to a relative of a CPM leader, this shows there is huge corruption in the area of waste management at Kochi Corporation. The issue has been lying for more than a week, Kochi Corporation has the prime responsibility of waste management, either they should be dissolved or the Mayor of Kochi Corporation should resign out of moral responsibility.”
