Senior Congress leader and Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor, who has been sidelined in the party following his decision to contest against Mallikarjun Kharge for the post of party chief, has now hinted at his growing interest in Kerala state politics. In a statement, Tharoor said that party workers want him to contest the Assembly polls. The next Assembly polls in Kerala are scheduled for only in 2026.
