Kerala CRPF Jawan sings folk song, video goes viral

Video of a Kerala CRPF Jawan singing folk song went viral on Social Media. V. Satheesh Kumar, hailing from Palakkad district posted a popular folk song on his Facebook account. He is a CRPF Jawan currently posted in Kohima, Nagaland. He said he sang the song, ‘Poomaram Poothulanje’ – a romantic folk song – to keep the spirits of colleagues up as they were getting ready for patrolling a territory looking for terrorists. One of Satheesh’s colleagues has recorded the performance on a video camera and soon it went viral. The video has been viewed over 100,000 times on Facebook.
