Trade unions call nationwide protest, raise various demands in Visakhapatnam

Protesting govt policies, members of All India Trade Unions and Employees Federation staged a nationwide protest in Vizag. Demanding full salaries, no privatisation of public sectors, price control on essential commodities, these members staged a protest at Mahatma Gandhi statue in Visakhapatnam on Friday. On this occasion trade union leaders addressed the members and raised an alarm stating that due to Corona situation nearly 11 crore workers lost their employment in small scale industries. Over the nation lakhs of migrant labourers are affected with their livelihood.
