Hyderabad: TRS wins mayor, deputy mayor posts with AIMIM's support

Newly elected members of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation met on February 11, 2021 to elect mayor and deputy mayor. TRS corporator from Banjara Hills, Gadwal Vijay Laxmi, who is the daughter of TRS MP Keshav Rao, was elected mayor, while TRS corporator from Tarnaka Mothe Sri Latha Reddy has been elected as deputy mayor. The AIMIM corporators also voted in favour of the TRS candidates.
