Flood gates of Srisailam Dam opened after good monsoon inflows

Two flood gates of the Srisailam Dam were opened to let out 56,000 cusecs of water into the Krishna river. Gates no 6 and 7 were lifted about 10 feet to let out water, resulting in a beautiful sight at the dam.
