AP: Three crest gates of Srisailam Dam in Nandyal opened amid heavy rains

Massive amount of water was released from Srisailam Dam constructed across the Krishna River in Nandyal on July 23 after the water level reached a dangerous level. Three crest gates of the dam were lifted up by the state's Water Resources Minister Ambati Rambabu.
