The Delhi Police are emulating their peers in Chennai over the successful cashless fine system for traffic rule violations. A team from Delhi police visited Chennai police commissioner AK Viswanathan to discuss the modalities to enforce a similar penalty system in the national capital. The team from Delhi also inquired about cameras used by their Chennai counterparts to rein in traffic offenders.
