LG Saxena commits to fix Delhi’s drainage system; foregrounds project update

Briefing on the campaign of cleaning River Yamuna, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on February 16 named the Najafgarh drain as one of the biggest elements under the project and promised of bringing a ‘sea change’ under the next 6 months. The LG also informed that 13 out of the 122 untreated sewage lines in the Najafgarh drain have been trapped.
