LG rejects Delhi govt’s proposal of doorstep delivery services

Delhi Lt Governor Anil Baijal rejected the state government’s proposal to provide doorstep delivery of public services. As per the proposal, a person would have to cite the home or place and a government representative would visit the person’s house to collect, certify and upload the documents. The LG said that digitization of services is enough. Meanwhile, the Delhi government dubbed it as a major setback in delivering corruption-free governance.
