Delhi: Three arrested for robbing Canadian pilot Rs 1.30 lakh

Delhi police have arrested Mehraj Salmani, Asif and Farman (all are residents of Meerut district) in connection with a robbing a Canadian national on July 12. The Canadian national employed as a pilot with IndiGo airlines was robbed off Rs 1.30 lakh by the three near Delhi Cantt area. The victim was waiting for his company cab at Terminal-1 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport. He was unable to locate his cab and requested a taxi driver to drop him nearby. The three accused in the taxi threatened him with a knife and robbed him of his money.
