To combat air pollution, New Delhi Municipal Council inaugurated anti-smog gun at Central Park in Connaught Place. An official said, 'It will reduce air pollution by spraying atomised water into the atmosphere so that dust and pollution particles are removed from the environment, and PM 10 and PM 2.5 levels are reduced by 60-70%. The initiative was part of our preparation to curb pollution in the future. We will send a report to NGT through EPCA.' EPCA chairman Bhurelal, however, refused to have any information about the development. He said, 'We have neither been updated nor has anyone consulted us before engaging the machine.'
