Two DMK cadres suspended for sexually abusing on-duty woman constable

DMK general secretary Duraimurugan initiated disciplinary action against two party cadres for allegedly sexually abusing a woman constable at Virugambakkam in Chennai. Both party workers, S Praveen and C Ekambaram, were suspended from the party membership. In a statement, Duraimurugan said, “Praveen and Ekambaram of 129th ward in Kalaignar Nagar north in Chennai south district are suspended and relieved temporarily from their party positions for the disrepute they brought to the party.”
