Low-pressure area now lies inside north Tamil Nadu neighborhood interior: IMD

Speaking on current weather conditions in Tamil Nadu and Chennai, India Meteorological Department (IMD) Director General of Chennai Dr S Balachandran on November 12 said that a low-pressure area is likely to form in far south Andaman Sea tomorrow. “A trough lies from Andhra to the Kumaran area through interior TN, due to which rain has cleared. We are getting sunshine through the cloudy sky. Light to moderate rainfall expected in Chennai and suburban areas,” he added.
