First special train since lockdown arrives in Chennai from Delhi

Passengers disembarked the first New Delhi-Chennai Rajdhani Express since lockdown 1.0, at the central railway station on May 15. The train brought back 781 passengers on board, who went through mandatory thermal screening upon arrival. Passengers were given the choice of quarantine at a government facility in Old Mahabalipuram road or paid hotels. For quarantine at a hotel, passengers had to shell out Rs 15,00 to 2,000 per day.
