Chennai metro to turn off air-conditioners at stations during non-peak hours to tackle water crisis

The water crisis in Tamil Nadu worsens. Chennai metro authorities to turn off Air-Conditioners at stations during non-peak hours to save water. The Chennai metro reportedly needs 9000 litres of water daily, of which 7200 litres are needed for Air-Conditioners.
