Chennai celebrity chef and team prepare 100 ft dosa, secure Guinness World Record

Celebrity chef Dr Vinoth Kumar and his team of 60 chefs broke the existing record for the longest Dosa. They prepared a 100-feet Dosa in Chennai on January 11 at the IIT Madras campus. 37.5 kgs of rice batter was used to make the mammoth dosa. Kumar and team set out to break Ahmedabad Hotel Daspalla’s world record of a 54-feet Dosa, a record that they set back in 2014. By successfully preparing the 100-feet Dosa, Kumar and his team set a new Guinness World Record and increased the margin by a long-shot, thereby decreasing the probability of getting challenged any time soon.
