Haryana govt announces ‘Pashu Kisan Credit Card’ for farmers

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, while addressing a public rally in Bhiwani, Haryana on August 21 announced a new scheme named ‘Pashu Kisan Credit Card’ for which 42,000 credit cards have been issued till now. “We are promoting organic farming. A farmer doing organic farming will get Rs 25,000 for a ‘desi cow’. Around 2,800 farmers have registered themselves. We have also started a new scheme named ‘Pashu Kisan Credit Card’ and 42,000 credit cards have been issued so far,” he said.
