Black Fungus: Karnataka records 700 cases in past week

Karnataka has recorded about 700 cases of black fungus or Mucormycosis in the last week. The state government has issued an order which permits all state-run medical college and district hospitals to provide appropriate treatment for the fungal infection. Karnataka Deputy CM CN Ashwath Narayan has also directed experts to look into finding the source of the black fungus.
