Iran has signalled a significant escalation in its strategic messaging, issuing a direct warning to major US corporations and indicating a potential shift in the conflict beyond traditional military targets. In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps named 18 American companies, including major technology firms, accusing them of enabling US and Israeli operations through technological and intelligence support. The allegations centre on the use of artificial intelligence, communication infrastructure, and data systems, which Iran claims have contributed to surveillance and operational targeting. The warning also included a defined timeline, with Iranian officials stating that potential reprisal actions could begin from April 1. The statement went further to caution employees and civilians near facilities linked to these companies, suggesting that corporate infrastructure could become a target.
