Delroy Lindo is opening up about what’s next, and it’s deeply personal. The actor revealed he’s currently writing a memoir that explores his mother’s journey from Jamaica to London, describing their story as representative of the Windrush generation. Lindo says he hasn’t seen enough films that capture the full scope of that experience, and he wants to help change that. He also shared plans to direct, co-produce and star in a Jamaica-set film highlighting the spirituality of the land and its people, beyond the usual “sea, sand and sun” image.
