Sandalwood to be shut on November 28 and 29

Sandalwood industry activities will come to a standstill on November 28 and 29. The decision was taken at a meeting which was held to discuss about the programmes which will be held for the inaugural function of Dr Rajkumar's memorial.
President of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, H D Gangaraju says, “On 29 November at Kanteerava studio, Dr Rajkumar's memorial will be unveiled.The same evening, there will be slew of cultural events. To prepare for those activities we have decided to shut the industry on November 28 and 29 to ensure every Sandalwood actor takes part in the grand event.” Director and actor S Narayan has been selected to supervise the cultural events.
Many big wigs like Rajinikanth, Amitabah Bachchan, Kamal Hassan, Mohanlal and Mamootty are expected to take part in the event.
