Madalsa Sharma, who recently quit the show Anupamaa, revealed how she is not keen to do Bigg Boss as of now. The actress shares how she keeps getting offers to participate in the show but she feels it is not the right time to do it.
Madalsa, who played the antagonist Kavya in Anupamaa said, "I don't want to do Bigg Boss now. I keep getting offers every year, but this is not the right time.
I also want to take a short break because I have given my blood, tears and sweat to Anupamaa. It was a fast pace of life for the last three years. I want to now say bye to Kavya and yes to Madalsa. I am not keen to do Bigg Boss now, when the time is right I will think about doing it." She added, "I want to now do something totally different. I am open to films, TV show or an OTT project. The role is more important than the medium."
In an earlier interview with BT, Madalsa shared why she decided to move on. She said, "When the show started in 2020, there were three main characters - Anupama (Rupali Ganguly), Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey) and Kavya. It was Kavya who brought an upheaval in Anupama's life and that's how things changed for everyone. Kavya was shown to be independent, strong, powerful. My character had tremendous growth for the initial 1-3 years but the past one year I felt that the story moved on from Vanraj, Kavya and Anupamaa. I am not complaining but there was not much spice or spark left in my character. Had Kavya continued playing the grey character she played earlier, I would have continued to be a part of the show. And Kavya needed to be her real self."
