I was forced to join the army after school: Ravi

Ravi, who is one of the most popular TV anchors in Telugu TV industry today, didn't exactly start out to be an anchor right after graduating from college. Apparently, his parents were eager to see him in the army and he even underwent training for few months. "Right from childhood, I knew that one day I will become an actor. My father is in the Army and I would say I am the black sheep in the family, whereas my siblings and relatives are well-educated and lead a comfortable life. After my 12th standard, I was forced to join the Army. But after six months of training near Pune, I got so homesick that I decided to come back," he reveals. Currently, he's hosting Dhee-Juniors, Mondi Mogudu Penki Pellam and several other TV shows.
