Bigg Boss Telugu, 11th August 2017, Episode no 27 update: Siva Balaji is the new captain of the house

The Bigg Boss Telugu episode begins with the members bracing themselves for the phone calls. The first call is received by Mahesh Katthi. He successfully identifies that it is for Adarsh who then speaks to his wife over the phone and has an emotional conversation.
Later, there is another call and this time Adarsh picks up the phone and the call is successfully identified as being for Hari Teja.She speaks over the phone ecstatic and later bursts into tears overcome and having spoken to her loved ones. The third call is received by Hari Teja and it’s for Diksha who speaks to her mom and is also overcome with emotion. The fourth call is received by Diksha and it’s for Mumait who speaks to her sister and nephew. In the morning, in the kitchen, Adarsh opines that Mahesh Katthi is not preparing the food wholeheartedly and serving it to others. He says Mahesh should be barred from the kitchen. Mahesh Katthi tells Siva Balaji that the way Adarsh is treating him is not right. Mahesh explains that his eyes were hurting and that’s why he had come out of the kitchen. Since Kartheeka was cutting the vegetables, he had intended to go back and cook after she was done. Adarsh tells Archana that Mahesh is intentionally doing all this and that he was finding it extremely difficult to control his anger against Mahesh.
Following instructions, Adarsh upon popular consensus nominates four persons for the captain of the new week: Mumait, Kartheeka, Hari Teja and Siva Balaji. Bigg Boss then divides the four nominees into two teams A and B comprising Mumait, Siva Balaji and Hari Teja and Kartheeka. He then assigns a task to the two teams. Team A emerges winner. Bigg Boss then assigns another task to Mumait and Siva Balaji in which Siva Balaji emerges winner and is declared the new captain of the house. Bigg Boss says that he has received many complaints about Siva Balaji’s temper. He therefore orders the inmates to test the patience of Siva Balaji as ‘patience’ is expected of a captain. Episode ends with Adarsh and Prince joking that Siva Balaji cannot hold his temper or long.
