Bigg Boss Telugu 3: A look at the highlights of Teenmaar Savitri aka Siva Jyothi’s journey in the house

Siva Jyothi, popularly known as ‘Teenmaar’ Savitri, is the first contestant to enter the Bigg Boss house this season. The news presenter from Nizamabad (Telangana) took her time to grab the attention of the world. Siva Jyothi, who is known for her straightforward talk and articulation, is one of the expected finalists, too. However, she fell short of enough votes to stay in the race. She got eliminated on October 27 and here’s a quick look at her journey in the house.

Siva Jyothi is unarguably one of the strongest contestants giving her male counterparts stiff competition in every task yet she is the most emotional contestant. Popularly known as the ‘cry baby of the house’, she was often trolled on social and nominated by her co-contestants for the same. However, she maintained that emotions and relationships are her strength and she never let them affect her game.

Siva Jyothi is one of the very few contestants of the seasons who were not nominated by their co-contestants for a long period. She survived nominations for more than 10 weeks of stay in the house which is a unique feat on the show.

Bigg Boss directly nominated Siva Jyothi and Rohini for eviction in week 4 for allegedly discussing nominations during the task. Rohini got eventually evicted towards the end of the week and Jyothi felt extremely guilty for her eviction.

Siva Jyothi found two brothers in the house, Ali Reza and Ravikrishna. While Ali and Siva Jyothi post the race for crown task where the latter slipped and Ali sacrificed his crown for her. Ali’s family later sent a rakhi for Siva Jyothi. She cried for more than two days post-Ali’s eviction. She was seen with Ravikrishna later and even cut her hair for him in the sacrifices task.

Vithika and Siva Jyothi share a unique relationship. She defeated Vithika in the captaincy task to become the captain of the house.

Atta-Kodallu task was one of the group tasks where Siva Jyothi took center stage. She performed as the mother-in-law with three daughters-in-law. This task also witnessed the rift between Rahul and Varun as well. However, her performance was well appreciated.

Siva Jyothi shares a love-hate relationship with Sreemukhi and Baba Bhaskar. Despite their differences, Jyothi supported and named Sreemukhi as her winner keeping aside Ali. Baba, on the other hand, is the only contestant to call Jyothi as ‘Darga’. He often pulled her leg for her cooking talent. She felt deeply hurt when Baba criticized her emotional balance during the college task. She mentioned this as the only bitter memory with him in the house.

Siva Jyothi had her share of arguments with Varun and Vithika throughout the show. However, the major fight between the two in the ticket to finale task dragged all the contestants into nominations. Vithika eventually got eliminated from the show that week. Vithika believes Siva Jyothi strategically did it to get her evicted.

Siva Jyothi learned to dance only after stepping into the Bigg Boss house. Her dance performance in one of the weekend episodes and transformation was indeed appreciated by host Nagarjuna too.
