Bigg Boss Telugu 2: Lesser-known facts about Pooja, the new wild card entrant

Taking the entire Bigg Boss Telugu 2 fandom by surpirse, Pooja Ramachandran stepped into the house as a wild card entry. While everyone expected TV host Pradeep Machiraju to be one, Pooja sneaked into the house the other day as the new inmate. From a VJ to BB contestant, here are a few lesser known facts about Pooja.

Born into a Malayali family from Tamil Nadu, Pooja Ramachandran was raised in Bengaluru. She currently resides in Chennai.

Pooja obtained her Bachelors degree in Visual Communication from the CSI Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore.

Soon after her studies, Pooja participated in various beauty pageants winning the 'Miss Coimbatore 2004' title.

However, she hogged limelight as a VJ in a popular music channel before she took the big leap into films.

Pooja first featured in an advertisement apparently at the age of 8. Her work in modelling includes some significant assignments in Bangalore and Coimbatore.

She was the winner of the debut season of the Tamil show Anu Alavun Bayamillai hosted by Anu Haasan. She even hosted a show titled Ulagam Muzhuthum Paranthu Paranthu.

Pooja took a brief hiatus from her professional career after her divorce with VJ Craig. “I’ve never been someone who is very ambitious and career-oriented. I’m in no hurry to sign films or rush into anything. I will just continue to do whatever work that comes my way,” said Pooja in one of her recent interviews to TimesofIndia.com.

Pooja is a positive soul with a strong mind and heart which helps her in her Bigg Boss journey, according to her near and dear who were seen posting videos on social media wishing her good luck with Bigg Boss Telugu 2.
