Actress Shivani Narayanan was seen performing a dual role - Anuradha and Abirami - in the show Rettai Roja. She was a part of the show from day one until July last year. Karthik Raj performed the lead role of Adithya Purushothaman aka Aadhi in the show Sembaruthi. Karthik, who essayed the male lead in the show ever since its premiere in 2017, quit the show in December, 2020. Karthik’s exit took fans by surprise. Divya Sridhar played the lead role of Bharathi Puviarasan in Magarasi until this June. Reports suggest that Divya has quit the show due to the rapid increase of cases in the second wave of COVID-19 and various health concerns.
