Reshma Venkatesh quits TV show Anbudan Kushi

Actress Reshma Venkatesh, who was performing the role of Kushi in the popular romantic drama Anbudan Kudhi, has left the show. Reshma took to her Instagram handle and shared the news with her fans.

Reshma Venkatesh’s message reads, “Dear Fan Family

I would like you to know that I am quitting Anbudan Kushi.

Hereafter, you can’t see me as Kushi. Even I too heartily miss that character.

I have to thank the Kushi team for the reason behind my growth and supporting me.

And thank you all my buddies for supporting me, for giving me lots and lots of love.

I need your love and support forever.

Reshma's fans and industry peers are shocked by the news. The actress hasn’t mentioned any reason for quitting Anbudan Kushi.

According to the reports, Thirumanam fame actress Shreya Anchan is expected to take up the role of Kushi in the coming days.


Anbudan Kushi is a romantic drama, which showcases the bonding between a North Indian girl and a professional boxer (North Madras guy).


Anbudan Kushi features Prajin Padmanabhan (as Anbu), Meera Krishna (as Madhuri Singh Lal), Sunitha (as Selvi), Aarthi Ramkumar (as Maya), Arumuga Vel (as Danasekar), KL Mani (as Abu), Suresh Krishnamurthi (as Aditya Lal), and others.
