'Mudhalum Nee Mudivum nee' set for world TV premiere this weekend

Buckle up for some high doses of romance this weekend. Besides reality shows and daily soaps, Tamil television is set to spice up the entertainment quotient by airing super hit movies.

Darbuka Siva's directorial debut 'Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee' is all set for its world television premiere. The movie will be aired on a leading Tamil general channel on Sunday (May 29) at 3pm.

The star cast of the movie includes Amritha Mandarine, Purva Raghunath, K Harish, Sharan Kumar, Rahul Kannan, Naren Vijay, Manjunath Nagarajan, Meetha Raghunath, Varun Rajan, Saraswathi Menon, Sacchin, Goutham Raj CSV, Harini Ramesh, and Kishen Das.

Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee was released on January 21 and received a successful response. Earlier this month, the movie was also released on OTT. The movie has also won international accolades like 'Honourable Mention' in the New York Movie Awards, Siva won in the "Best Director" category at the Art Film Awards, Macedonia.

The coming-of-age drama story is narrated from the perspective of a bunch of high school kids growing up in the late 90s in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The film holds a mirror to the mood of that era as much as it reflects the mind space of those teenagers. Then the story moves to a space where finding closure and purpose in life are the central themes.

Darbuka Siva is a well-known music composer who made his debut as a director by churning 'Mudhalum Nee Mudivum Nee'.Apart from writing and directing the film, Darbuka Siva has composed music as well. Sujith Sarang (Cinematography), Sreejith Sarang (Editing), and Thamarai-Keerthi-Kaber Vasuki (Lyrics) are the main technicians.
