Gandhi Jayanthi special films on Vijay TV

This year, Gandhi Jayanthi & Ayudha Pooja falls on the same day, Vijay TV celebrate with unique set of programs which includes Premiere of newly released super comedy film – Mundasupatti, Saivam, Raja Rani and Thegidi.
Mundasupatti at 1100 Hrs.
A comedy film produced by FOX STAR Studios and Thirukumaran Entertainment. Directed by Ram starring – Vishnu, Nandita, Kaali Venkat, Ramadoss, Anandaraj.Music by Sean Roldan. Gopi, a photographer, and Azhagu, his assistant, get stuck in Mundasupatti, a village where there is superstitious belief among naïve villagers that taking a picture brings bad luck and reduces one’s life expectancy.. And, Gopi falls for Kalaivani, the village headman's daughter who is about to get married... How they get out of this mess, and how Gopi uses their blind beliefs to cleverly manipulate them and eventually win the hand of Kalaivaani, forms the rest of the story.

A family drama directed by A. L. Vijay, starring Nassar and Baby Sara of Deiva Thirumagal fame in lead roles, supported by newcomers Baasha (Nassar's son), Twara Desai and Muisc composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. The family of Kathiresan (Nasser), a respected man in his village, has come from various parts of the globe for the local festival. Tamizhselvi (Sara), Kathiresan's granddaughter, is an endearing presence in the family, and she is fond of her pet rooster, Paapa. After a minor accident, the family is told that they might have displeased their god and they believe that all their ill-luck is because they failed to offer the rooster to the god as a sacrifice. Even as they decide to fulfill their vow, Paapa goes missing leaving the family in a tizzy.

A romantic comedy film directed by Atlee. The film Stars - Arya, Nayantara, Nazriya Nazim, Jai, Sathyaraja, Santhanam.Music by G V Prakash. The story revolves around John (Arya) and Regina (Nayathara), who learn to live and love each other, after being forced to get married. Both have previously loved and lost and agree to get married only to keep their respective parents happy. The story turns, when John and Regina learn about each other’s past love life and since both understand the pain and heartbreak of losing someone, they start to sympathize with the other. But can they ever fall in love again?

A murder mystery film directed by P. Ramesh. The film features Ashok Selvan, Janani Iyer, Jaya Prakash, Kaali Venkat and Others. Music by Nivas K Prasanna. Vettri is a newly graduated criminology student who has an immense passion in becoming a detective. He joins a detective agency and is assigned a series of subjects to observe. He falls in love with Madhusree, one of his targets, and just when everything seems to be going fine, Vettri's subjects start dying mysteriously. Can he save Madhu before it is too late?
