​​Deepa Natarajan​


Deepa Natarajan is the ex-wife of Bigg Boss Tamil 5 contestant Abhishek Raja. Speaking in the Bigg Boss house about his divorce, Abhishek did not give a reason. But Deepa opened up that he would beat and torture her. She said, 'You have to say no when you hit the first time. If not, then you can not say no.'

​Vanitha Vijayakumar​


Vanitha Vijayakumar well-known actress and a former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant, faced a lot of struggles in her personal life. For the unversed, Vanitha Vijaykumar married Peter Paul in a traditional Christian ceremony in June 2020. This was Vanitha's third marriage. She previously tied the knot with television actor Akash, with whom she has two kids- Vijay Sri Hari and daughter Jovika, and later was married to a businessman Anand Jay Rajan, with whom she has daughter Jayanitha. In 2020, Vanitha Vijayakumar and Peter apparently had a spat in Goa after he misbehaved with her over a family argument. In a tearful video, posted a few months after their marriage, Vanitha claimed that she didn't cross-check Peter's marital status and 'blindly believed' him and later she learnt that he had not divorced his first wife during their marriage.

​​VJ Chithra​


VJ Chithra, a popular face of the Tamil TV industry, rose to fame with her role Mulli in the daily soap Pandian Store. On December 9, VJ Chitra was found dead in her hotel room in Nazarathpettai. The actor checked into the room at 1 am after completing her shoot for television show. Her boyfriend Hemnath was present with her in the room and claimed to have gone out for a while. Later when he came back to the room, he found it locked and forced it open. As per reports in the media the actress Chithra endured physical and verbal abuse and also lost a lot of money to her boyfriend Hemnath.

In a series of interviews, Jayashree detailed the alleged affair between her actor-husband Isvar Raghunathan, and actress Mahalakshmi. Isvar had allegedly abused Jayashree's child under the influence of alcohol and had frequently physically harmed her, according to Jayashree. She even went as far as attempting suicide.

Shalini, after her divorce with her first husband, fell in love and married Mohammed from Dubai. Soon after the marriage, her second marriage allegedly turned toxic due to the abusive behaviour of Mohammed.

Jennifer is a popular Tamil serial actress, who is known for acting in the widely popular Sembaruthi TV serial as Uma. Jennifer and her ex-lover allegedly got involved in a physical fight with Jennifer and her family members. The actress also accused her ex-lover, Naveen, of physically abusing her, which resulted in the actress sustaining injuries and bruises on her face. Jennifer claimed that she was both mentally and physically abused by Naveen and her family members. Jennifer stated that she does not want to become another Chitra in Tamil Nadu and that she was experiencing what Chitra went through.

Vilasini, an RJ, anchor and actress, was married to Sai Gnaprakash for a few years but separated from him in 2019. The actress claimed that she was cheated on by her husband, who was involved in many nefarious activities and used to go missing for long duration of time. The actress has also allege that she endured physical and verbal abuse and also lost a lot of money to her ex-husband, who used to extort money from her parents, as well.
